Page Note: Not every investigation we do is listed on this page, as we have to respect the wishes of clients who want it to be kept confidential. This was an investigation we were invited to by another team in the early summer of 2008. We scoped out the site during the day to get a look and feel for the place, since it is hard to see everything in the dark, even with flashlights. We met back up with the other team right before dark, and proceeded with the investigation. We had a couple of minimal personal experiences, one of which was the camcorder light turning off when it was sitting by itself in the chapel. Though that could have easily been a malfunction, and as a personal experience, we cannot use it as evidence. The rest of the investigation was pretty slow, and we decided to call it a night. Evidence we captured was one evp during the time we were there during the day, in which you hear someone laugh when Lois and I were discussing a hot spot. Is this place haunted? I don't believe it is. We don't have any substantial evidence to say otherwise. On October 31st, 2008 we were called in by another team to help these clients who were experiencing paranormal activity. Claims of activity were scratches appearing on door casings and the floor that were not previously there, and the sighting of a man in the back bedroom watching the clients paint, who then disappeared. When the man was sighted, the clients left the house, and did not return until we showed up a week later. Before we started the investigation, we took a look at the scratches, and we cannot determine if it is caused by something Paranormal. It could have easily been caused by furniture being moved, and the clients not realizing the scratches caused by this until later, as they were in the process of moving in. During the investigation we heard constant foot steps in one of the bedrooms, and during this time caught an evp saying 'get out of here'. Later in the night when things were slow, one of the investigators started provoking, and we got an evp in the same room the man was sighted by the clients that said 'hey.. come and get me'. A little while later, the same investigator said that this was no longer his house, and he had to leave. In response to that, in the same room as the come and get me, we caught an evp that sounds like "I am packing". We didn't catch anything on video or still photos that night. Is this house haunted? Possibly. But we don't have enough substantial evidence to prove it is. After the investigation, the clients decided that they were not going to continue with moving into the house. And as far as we know, the house still sits empty. Bridge Tender TavernIn January of 2009, we were invited to do an investigation at the Bridge Tender Tavern in Seaside, Oregon. There has been claims of a 'madam' who roams the building. The building itself was said to be a brothel until 1942 when the Japanese bombed the Oregon coast. Our guess, is that the 'madam' came from that brothel. We proceeded to do most of our investigation upstairs, where nobody has been in many years. The night itself was pretty slow, and not much happened. There was a few personal experiences, though we had no evidence to back it up. We did however, catch a few female voices when going over the voice recorders from that night. Some of which, were heard when nobody was upstairs. Were those voices the madam who is said to wonder the building? Possibly. Is the building haunted? I don't know. We don't have enough evidence to say it is. However, we would love to return to this location someday and do a follow-up investigation. In the early months of 2009, we did an investigation in a Winery on the Oregon Coast. There were claims that the beds in the bedrooms upstairs would be made, and the next time they went in there, they would be unmade. We made sure to have all of the beds in camera view, but did not catch anything. During the night, two of our investigators were upstairs and asked 'who are you', we got an EVP that clearly says 'we work here'. Later in the night an EVP was caught of a dog that barks and then growls. It was heard very loud on the recorder downstairs that was in the room near the command center, and was also caught a lot quieter on the recorder that was left upstairs. There was no dog's around, and nobody ever heard a dog bark, including the person we had at the command center next to the room where it was caught. Maybe it was a dog from beyond the grave? The night was pretty slow, and not a lot happened, so we called it a night. I don't know if this place is haunted. Again we didn't get substantial evidence to prove that is it. |
